QEII Illumination: An Immersive Lighting Experience at the QEII Centre
Following the success of the QEII Centre’s 30th Anniversary celebrations, Event Trees was invited back to create a spectacular client showcase event themed around Illumination. The vision was to transform the venue using thousands of lights, immersive installations, and innovative event design to create an unforgettable guest experience.
Working throughout the venue, our team designed a series of bespoke feature installations that redefined the event space. Highlights included a striking rainbow-lit staircase, dramatic oversized illuminated chandeliers, and custom-built décor elements that helped guide guests through a journey of light, colour, and discovery.
One of the evening's standout attractions was a rotating performance stage, where live violinists performed within the centre of the installation, creating a captivating focal point and a memorable interactive experience for guests.
Combining immersive lighting design, bespoke event production, and creative venue transformation, QEII Illumination showcased how innovative staging, architectural lighting, and experiential event décor can transform corporate showcase events into extraordinary experiences.
