QEII Centre 30th Anniversary: Immersive Event Theming & Venue Transformation
Event Trees was proud to be selected to design and deliver the themed environments for the QEII Centre’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, transforming one of London’s most prestigious conference and events venues into a series of immersive guest experiences.
Working closely with the QEII Centre team, we developed a creative event concept featuring two completely distinct themed spaces. The iconic Mountbatten Room was reimagined with a futuristic TRON-inspired event design, combining dramatic lighting effects, immersive styling, and cutting-edge visual elements to create a high-impact experiential environment.
Meanwhile, the Cambridge Room was transformed into a vibrant 1980s-themed event space, celebrating the era with bold colours, nostalgic décor, and interactive design features that transported guests back in time.
The TRON-themed installation was a particularly exciting challenge for our team, allowing us to explore new creative techniques and push the boundaries of immersive event production. From concept development and venue styling to installation and execution, the project showcased Event Trees' expertise in themed event décor, corporate event production, and large-scale venue transformation.
The result was a memorable anniversary celebration that combined innovative event design, experiential storytelling, and bespoke themed environments to honour 30 years of the QEII Centre.
