Event Odyssey at Tobacco Dock: Creating an Immersive Event Experience with Bespoke Foliage Installations

As Tobacco Dock's preferred foliage and event décor supplier, Event Trees partnered with Anna Valley and in-house graphics specialists Jupiter to transform the venue into a fully immersive environment. Working collaboratively, we combined innovative AV technology, large-scale graphics, and bespoke foliage installations to create an unforgettable visitor experience.

To soften the technology-led displays and seamlessly connect the event spaces, our team installed a stunning artificial foliage tunnel, creating a natural journey through the showcase. Screens, display structures, and graphics were enhanced with bespoke foliage dressing, adding texture, depth, and visual impact while reinforcing the immersive event theme.

Throughout the venue, we transformed key feature areas with dense rainforest-inspired foliage installations. The lighting truss structures and the iconic North Fountain area were dressed with vibrant greenery, creating a lush, tropical environment that completely reimagined the space. What would otherwise have been open exhibition areas became captivating experiential zones designed to engage and inspire visitors.

The result was a striking blend of event technology, experiential design, artificial foliage décor, and environmental styling, demonstrating how creative event production can transform large venues into immersive destinations.

Over the course of seven days, event professionals, agencies, production companies, film studios, and corporate event planners from across the UK attended the showcase in scheduled hourly sessions. Event Odyssey proved to be a huge success, highlighting the power of collaboration between leading event suppliers and showcasing how innovative design, technology, and bespoke event décor can elevate live experiences.
