Countryfile Live at Castle Howard & Blenheim Palace

Our team designed and installed bespoke foliage canopies across the main stage structures, enhanced with elegant cherry blossom branches to create a vibrant and natural backdrop. Two stunning artificial cherry blossom trees framed the stage, providing the perfect setting for live interviews, discussions, and presentations hosted by BBC favourites John Craven and Anita Rani.

Designing the stage set came with a unique set of challenges. The installations had to withstand changing outdoor conditions, including high winds, rain, and direct sunlight, whilst remaining fully fire-retardant and securely fixed to the stage truss structures. Specialist installation crews utilised cherry pickers to safely access and dress the stage at height, ensuring every detail met the highest standards of safety and presentation.

The finished result was a beautiful nature-inspired stage backdrop that complemented the Countryfile brand and enhanced the visitor experience across both venues. Combining outdoor event décor, artificial tree installations, and large-scale stage dressing, Event Trees created a memorable focal point for one of the UK's leading countryside and lifestyle events.
