QEII Birdie Island Summer Party: A Bespoke Crazy Golf Experience
For the QEII Centre’s Birdie Island Summer Party, Event Trees collaborated with the QEII creative team to design and deliver a unique bespoke crazy golf experience that combined entertainment, branding, and immersive event styling.
At the heart of the event was a custom-built 12-metre crazy golf course, created in the shape of the QEII Centre's logo. Rather than traditional artificial grass, the course featured bespoke artwork designed to tell the story of the venue, showcasing its facilities, values, and services in a creative and interactive way.
The project presented several technical challenges, including scaling the logo design to over 12 metres while ensuring the structure remained perfectly level on uneven outdoor ground. Working alongside our sister company, Area 51, the team used precision laser levelling and expert event production techniques to create a flawless finish.
To complete the summer party atmosphere, Event Trees supplied a bespoke pallet bar, pallet seating in QEII's signature purple, and a selection of our signature artificial trees to soften the space and enhance the outdoor event environment. Guests enjoyed cocktails, premium canapés, networking, and rounds of golf, creating a memorable corporate summer celebration.
The result was an engaging and highly personalised corporate summer party, showcasing how bespoke event design, branded installations, and creative venue styling can transform outdoor spaces into unforgettable experiences.
